As COVID-19 pandemic is writing into our history books, life has changed dramatically - particularly to our time spent at home.
Having to stay home more often than usual due to lockdown, circuit breaker or social distancing reasons, being isolated in our homes means more face time with our flatmates. In the past, it was pretty often that your room was meant for your good night’s sleep after work and night’s out. Now, your room has probably turned multi-functional into your home office to work from home, a place for you to hang out for leisure activities such as gaming and Netflix, as well as a place for you to exercise. Talking about flatmates, we now face them 24/7 in the same apartment. Flatmates become an integral part to decide if we live in heaven or hell. Imagine yourself living with someone whom you always need to argue over cleaning duties or about noise levels. Nobody wants that. What about someone whom you can watch Netflix and play games together after working from home? Therefore, it is important to have good or at least decent flatmates to live together with the pandemic.
